Meatballs for Christmas

Well.... I've just tried to make meatballs from mainly elk (moose), not the traditional pork and beef ones, and what shall I say... they do taste nice but... they are too loose and falls apart very easily...
I'm sorry Mum, I hope you'll like them anyway...

Lovely weekend

I have spent my weekend in the country side, a friend of mine has rented an old 17th century cottage for some months... it is so lovely.
When we woke up saturday morning the landscape was all WHITE!!! Just perfect as it was the 13th of December which is the Lucia Celebration Day here in Sweden. (Girls in white dresses, candles in hands and hair... beautiful songs.... lighting up our dark season here). We were baking traditional Christmas Cookies (gingerbread men....) and our special Swedish Saffron Christmas Buns... in a old wood stove. They turned out just perfect... Yummy!!
